Tubing

For the casual river traveler, recommended for children 5 and up (depending on river conditions), no skill involved. Average tubing experience is limited to the rapids at Skinner's Falls. Time varies depending on personal preference.

Tubing the river or going to the next location, usually about 5 miles away can take up to 5-6 hours normally. When you arrive at your destination you will check in, we than provide a shuttle back to your starting location.

Many people opt on those hot days to tube the falls. At the skinners falls location you would rent your tube and float down through the rapids. This portion of the river is about a 1/4 mile long. At this point you would walk the rock or path along the river back to your starting point and tube it again. This can be done until we close at 6pm.

The nice thing about tubing the falls is it's a busy place; many people just hang on the rocks or use their tubes as a cushion along the shore. Bring your picnic lunch just leave the bottles at home.
