About Lander's River Trips
Lander's River Trips is a family business founded in 1955 by Bob Lander. Today we continue in the tradition of service excellence by providing quality outdoor experiences with customer satisfaction as our goal. We offer the finest facilities and equipment available for the enjoyment of Delaware River adventurers.

Company Profile
Lander's River Trips commands the greatest presence on the Upper Delaware River, with ten riverfront locations to serve our customers. We also offer four true riverfront campgrounds as well as comfortable lodging at our Ten Mile River Lodge and Restaurant. Our focus is always on first rate customer service.

Through our affiliation with many outdoor organizations, we stay on top of current trends and continue to improve our equipment and services for our guests. For instance, as an active member of the Professional Paddlesport Association (PPA), America Outdoors and American Canoe Association (ACA) we support unrestricted use of public waterways and encourage ecologically responsible recreation.

President Richard Lander continues in the Lander's River Trips excellence founded by his father. "The Delaware River is a protected treasure, flowing through the foothills of the Catskill and Pocono Mountains. Whether you're canoeing, rafting, or camping on the Delaware, you'll enjoy the serenity of this beautiful area and may even catch sight of one of the many nesting pairs of Bald Eagles."

"See you on the river!"

Joan is the widow of Lander's River Trips' owner Joan:
Joan is the mother of the operation, so to speak. Her husband, Bob, started the company, with 10 canoes. She has been here since the beginning and is proud to see the company grow to hold 1180 canoes, 250 rafts, and 123 kayaks. Joan is the mother of three and grandmother of seven. She is also the proud mother of 2 dogs and a parakeet. Her favorite things to do are babysitting and enjoying a nice evening at home watching a great show on TV. She is famous in the office for bringing in the Double Stuffed Oreos and other goodies that keep the staff "well nourished."

Rick is the son of Lander's River Trips' original owner Rick:
Rick is the current owner and chief manager of Landers River Trips and the Ten Mile Motel Ent; His father Bob started the business in 1955. Upon returning to the Upper Delaware area after college, Rick started right in to the business with his father. When his father passed away, Rick became the owner and continued his father's legacy with a freshness that helped the business grow even more. He is happily married with four children. Rick and his wife Lisa keep busy going to the kids soccer games, gymnastic meets, and softball games. He is also active on the school board and is a volunteer for the fire and ambulance squads. Rick was the town and county supervisor for 7 years. When he does get some free time, he likes to go fishing, hunting, and of course, canoeing, kayaking, and rafting. When asked what the most exciting part of running Landers River Trips is for him, he replied, " I love to see groups have a good time. Then they come back year after year, and it's like they are a part of the summer season for us."

Heather is a 3rd generation Lander Heather:
Heather is the daughter of Rick and Lisa Lander. Heather is an all around athlete, playing soccer, softball, and basketball. Basketball is her favorite of the three. She goes kayaking on the river, and rafting as well. Her favorite thing to do is to go to the mall and shop, or play with her friends Amanda, Tierney, Tracy, and Jessica. On Saturdays and Sundays, you'll see her helping out at the Narrowsburg campground.

He is single, and loves all outdoor sports from rock climbing to hiking, to canoeing, to motorcycling. You can always see Eric at 7am riding his mountain bike along the Delaware before he comes into work.
